An engaging story about directionless Sally, the house she inherits, the love story that almost wasn’t, and her surprisingly witchy ancestral ties

When 28 year old Sally inherited a dilapidated house in Edithburgh, a quiet country town in South Australia, she couldn’t have pointed it out on a map.

Accompanied by her two friends Cassie and Troy, they arrive to find a house that needs more care than Sally knows how to give, or a swift bulldozer.

After being deserted by her friends, unexpected connections are somehow made with a few locals – her elderly neighbour Dickie, the warm-hearted pizza shop owner Cora, and a very cute local named Jaye.

With a long lost cousin trying to lay claim to the house, and increasingly bizarre occurrences keeping Sally on edge, she considers throwing in the towel until discovering the town’s history of witchcraft, her own Romany heritage, and how the two are intertwined.
